• As a gravity filter the outlet is designed to be hung over the edge of the pond or waterfall, if you need any length of pipe to be attached, other than a short length, you are better off using a pressurised filter

Features:

• Designed to remove distracting debris from ponds once they are exposed to Ultra Violet light dangerous bacteria in the water are rendered harmless

• First water passes through the highly effective UV clarifier and exposes the impurities in the water to Ultra Violet light, water then passes through the foam layers which extract larger pieces of debris

• Once through the foam the water is forced through the bio balls where helpful bacteria that have established themselves will digest the small particles of organic debris leaving you with clean water

• The outlet pipe can feed the water directly back in to your pond or can be used at the head of a waterfall

• Partly burying the filter to make it less conspicuous is possible due to the high outlet pipe

• Integral waste drain on the bottom of the filter box allows the box to be easily drained to remove solids and for maintenance

• Viewing window to safely check the correct functioning of the UVC

• A rubberised electrical cable is fitted, please note the cable is not fitted with a plug as this contravenes UK electrical regulations, and to be connected to a power supply through a residual current device (RCD)

• An Owners Instruction Manual is supplied

• Please note a pump is not supplied with this filter
{How It Works}
How It Works:

• Pond water is pumped through the ultra violet clarifier (UVC) section which kills green algae particles and then passes through foam layers which extract larger particles of debris and into the biological chamber

• The bio balls in the biological chamber provide a mass surface area upon which beneficial bacteria thrive to convert and dissolve organic debris and fish waste into harmless matter

• The large foam surface area provides increased filtration and beneficial bacteria growth for mechanical and biological filtration, converting over a period of time unsightly green and cloudy water into clean water which is passed back into the pond via gravity

• Easy to clean and maintain

• A clear viewing window at the side of the filter box allows the user to see if the Ultra Violet lamp is switched on and functioning

• Bayonet fitting of the UVC lamp allows quick cleaning and change of the lamp as and when required

• Integral outlet drain for easy removal of waste
