A Convenient way to mount two T5 High Output Fluorescent Tubes over an
aquarium, the I-Bar is available in a range of sizes from 700mm through to
1500mm (27.5" to 60"), and due to it's lockable telescopic end brackets can be
adjusted to fit other sizes.

The I-Bar rests directly onto the glass rim of the aquarium resulting in two T5 fluorescent tubes running the length of the tank in some cases the tubes have been staggered to achieve maximum spread.
An Arcadia T5 Reflector of suitable size can then be attached onto each lamp in order to focus the light into the aquarium, and so maximize it's performance, and also eliminates glare.
The I-Bar can be used over a freshwater aquarium to allow the attractive feature of plant growth beyond the water surface.
Some commercially available tanks use a rigid central bracing bar and two plastic access panels, in order to provide an aquarium with a flat closed top surface. The I-Bar can be used to replace the central brace bar of such tanks and will hold the access panels securely. Finally, if fitting into the hood of a cabinet style aquarium, the I-Bar can be securely screw fitted to the underside of the hood.
