Complementary Lighting Tubes To Add Colourful Brilliance Into Your Aquarium
Since their introduction in 2000, ATI T5 fluorescent tubes have been at the forefront of T5 tube technology. Today's ATI T5 tubes are no exception. Continuing the tradition of excellence, ATI uses the latest advances in phosphors (to emit light) and manufacturing techniques to produce tubes with higher output, better coloration, and more stability. ATI tubes are also very affordable, making them the preferred choice of experienced hobbyists around the world.
ATI - Aquablue Special - Stand-Alone Tube
This is one of the established stand-alone tubes of the modern marine aquarium. It combines the properties of a full-spectrum tube with an elevated blue color peak. The Aquablue Special is designed for coral growth due to the high proportion of photosynthetically usable radition on corals (zooxanthellae).
Recommended as a stand-alone tube or in combination with Blue Plus, Purple Plus or Actinic.
We recommend mixing in a ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 to our Blue Plus and the supplemental tubes.
ATI Coral Plus - Stand-Alone Bulb
This lamp is a basic tube with a more bluish part at a maximum PAR output. The higher blue part helps for a better colour rendering of the corals with fluorescent pigments. Furthermore, this tends to a higher photosynthetically usable radiation (PUR).
In spite of the high blue part, also red parts will be getting an excellent presentation.
The Coral plus is the latest development which is placed between the Aquablue Special and the Blue Plus.
ATI Blue Plus - Supplemental Tube
Produces an intense blue light (maximum at 450nm) with high PAR numbers and a light spectrum that encourages both bluing in SPS corals and fluorescence in capable corals. Also helps balance a washed out/ yellow-hued tank. Recommended as a supplement to metal halides or in combination with Aquablue Special or Purple Plus. Can also be used for dawn/dusk applications.
ATI Actinic - Supplemental Tube
Produces a violet-blue light that is designed to maximize fluorescence in capable corals and make livestock colors pop. Color spectrum peaks at 421nm. Recommended as a supplement to metal halides or in combination with other T5 tubes. Can also be used for dawn/dusk applications.
ATI Purple Plus - Supplemental Tube
Combines the properties of a full-spectrum tube with strong red and blue components, producing a tube with excellent color rendition that works very well to bring out pinks, purples and reds in an aquarium. Recommended in combination with at least two or more other T5 tubess, like the Blue Plus and Aquablue Special. Not recommended as a stand-alone tube.
